Newspaper publisher Johnston Press has agreed a £10 million outsourcing deal for its facilities management. SGP Property and Facilities Management will take on the contract for an initial three-year term. In total 185 sites across the UK and Ireland will be covered with 130 Johnston Press staff employed in service areas such as catering, security and cleaning transferring to SGP under Transfer of Undertaking Protection of Employment (TUPE) regulations.
